Books magically appear where children gather in our community. How do they get to the clinic waiting rooms and Laundromats, to after-school programs and foster care agencies? Why, the Book Fairy brings them, of course! Specifically it is the very busy volunteers of the GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club. Chaired by Debbie Struk this project has collected and distributed over 12,000 gently used books to children in the community in a five year period.

Such large numbers of books would not be possible without strong community support. A big thank you goes out to the Florida Future Educators of America (FFEA) chapter at Countryside High School. These students collect thousands of books in their yearly book drives.
