GFWC North Pinellas Woman's Club Grants & Scholarships

GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club is proud to help support a number of dynamic and impactful organizations to improve our communities and better our world.

Each year, GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club awards grants to local nonprofit organizations that sponsor local improvement projects throughout the community in addition to awarding scholarships to deserving organizations.

Due to our successful fundraising efforts in 2023, in 2024 the club awarded seven community grants of $2,000 each,  $8,500 in scholarships and $4,000 in member grants for a grand total of $26,500 that was be put back into the community!

The deadline to apply for a 2024 grant has passed. Please check back in early 2025 for an opportunity to apply.

Clearwater Free Clinic – $2000 for continuous glucose monitors for low-income patients

Harbor Dish – $2000 for van’s operating expenses serving food to underserved community

Homeless Empowerment Project – $2000 for dental lab fees for homeless patients

Pack A Sack – $2000 for weekend food items for food insecure children

 

Ruth’s Promise – $2000 for safety chairs for adults unable to stay at home alone

Sailability – $2000 for boat seat covers used by community with limited abilities

Tampa Bay Advocates Against Human Trafficking
– $2000 for removal or adapting of branding tattoos
