Book Fairy Project
Books magically appear where children gather in our community.
Under the leadership of our own Book Fairy Debbie Struk, GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club has helped children discover the joy of reading and book ownership. Through the collection of new and gently used books, the club reaches children across the community, distributing thousands of books to local health clinics, family centers, classrooms, foster care agencies, after-school programs, camps, Habitat for Humanity house dedications, and community parades.
Honored by GFWC Florida Federation of Women’s Clubs as an outstanding community improvement program, this initiative continues to put books directly into the hands of young readers.

We are deeply grateful to the Countryside High School FFEA (Florida Future Educators of America) chapter in Clearwater, Florida. Their student-led annual book drives generate thousands of book donations, driving the heart of this initiative.
