Explore Your Creative Side
The GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club Arts Community Service Program encourages members to promote and support arts activities in all communities. It is designed to inspire clubwomen to explore the creative ambiance within their lives. Create programs and projects that include art, music, dance, drama, theatre, and other arts-related areas, both traditional and innovative. Art plays an important part in the lives of GFWC members, as Art helps to instill confidence, provides opportunities, and broadens clubwomen’s horizons. Moreover, members are the catalysts in their communities for encouraging and actively promoting all forms of art.
-
Engage our communities through the arts by raising awareness of the unlimited benefits created through arts programs
-
Educate others on and promote the achievements of women in the arts
- Develop art opportunities for people with disabilities and foster youth community art
“To all the secret writers, late-night painters, would-be singers, lapsed and scared artists of every stripe, dig out your paintbrush, or your flute, or your dancing shoes. Pull out your camera or your computer or your pottery wheel…Pick up a needle and thread, and stitch together something particular and honest and beautiful.”
