GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club Celebrates Read Across America

To celebrate Read Across America on March 2, volunteers from the GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club celebrated with children at the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranch in Safety Harbor and Kings Highway Elementary School in Clearwater. Volunteers entertained children from the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranch by reading “The Cat in the Hat,” making “Cat in the Hat” masks, and tossing bean bags in the “Cat in the Hat” hat. At the end of the party, each child selected their favorite Dr. Seuss book to keep and read.
