Apply for $1,000 Community Grant For 501c3 Organizations

GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club 2019 Grant Application Cycle Now Open
JANUARY 25, 2019 – Clearwater, Florida GFWC (General Federation of Women’s Clubs) North Pinellas Woman’s Club Foundation Inc. is now accepting applications for their 2019 Community Grants. Grants in amounts up to $1,000 each will be awarded to community 501c3 organizations sponsoring local projects. The club is able to provide these grants as a result of the success of their annual Holiday Market, formerly Christmas Under the Oaks, held for the past forty-two years in November in Clearwater.
Grant applications are available at the club’s website www.gfwcnpwc.org. Applications must state objectives of the project, activities, timeline, budget, and evaluation. The deadline is March 1, 2019. Forms may also be requested by an email to NorthPinellasWomansClub@yahoo.com attention Grant Committee.
Since the club’s founding in 2003, the GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club Foundation Inc. has provided assistance to community nonprofit organizations and projects through volunteerism and philanthropy. Over the past 5 years, club members have volunteered over 120,000 hours, contributed nearly $250,000 of in-kind donations to community charities and donated over $105,000 for local community grants and scholarships.
