North Pinellas Woman’s Club, a member group of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, has awarded $18,000 in grants to local 501c3 organizations.

Community Grants

• Clearwater Free Clinic — $2,000 for continuous glucose monitors for low-income patients

• Harbor Dish — $2,000 for van’s operating expenses serving food to underserved community

• Homeless Empowerment Program — $2,000 for dental lab fees for homeless patients

• Pack A Sack @ Heritage UMC — $2,000 for weekend food items for food insecure children

• Ruth’s Promise @ Prince of Peace— $2,000 for safety chairs for adults unable to stay at home alone

• Sailability Greater Tampa Bay — $2,000 for boat seat covers used by the differently abled community

• Tampa Bay Advocates Against Human Trafficking — $2,000 for removal or adapting of branding tattoos

Member Grants

• End 68 Hours of Hunger — $500 for local school food pantries

• Foster to Foster — $500 for foster children’s car seats

• Fostering Hope — $500 for transportation expenses of women aging out of foster care

• Lotz of Blessings — $500 for weekend food for food insecure children

• The Magic Yarn Project — $500 for supplies for character wigs for children with cancer

• Operation Military Matters — $500 for shipping care packages to active military overseas

• Sewing Hope — $500 for fabric for fleece blankets for foster children

• Suncoast Voices for Children — $500 for underwear for foster clothing closet

The club is able to provide these grants as a result of the success of their annual Christmas Under the Oaks Arts & Craft Festival.
