Press Release: GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club Now Accepting Grant Applications

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Inquiries: GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club Media Relations, pr@gfwcnpwc.org 501c3 Organizations Serving North Pinellas – Apply NOW for Grants GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club 2020 Grant Application Cycle Now Open    JANUARY 22, 2020 – Clearwater, Florida GFWC (General Federation of Women’s Clubs) North Pinellas Woman’s Club Foundation Inc. is now accepting applications for their 2020 Community Grants.  Two $5,000 grants and six $3,000 grants will be awarded to community 501c3 organizations sponsoring local projects. The club is able to provide these grants as a result of the success of their annual Christmas Under the Oaks Arts & Craft Festival, held for the past forty-three years in November in Clearwater.    Grant applications are available at the club’s website  https://gfwcnpwc.org. Applications must state objectives of the project, activities, timeline, budget, and evaluation.  The deadline is March 1, 2020.  Forms may also be requested by sending an email to  grants@gfwcnpwc.org attention Grant Committee.   Since the club’s founding in 2003, the GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club Foundation Inc. has provided assistance to community nonprofit organizations and projects through volunteerism and philanthropy.  Last year club members volunteered over 30,000 hours, and contributed over $170,000 in community grants, scholarships, monetary and in-kind donations to community charities.   About the GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization united in our passion to positively impact lives in Pinellas County.
