6th Year GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club Recognizes Outstanding Student

MAY 28, 2019   CLEARWATER, FL –The 2019 GFWC North Pinellas Woman’s Club (NPWC) Community Service Award was presented to Caitlyn Coleman, a Countryside High School senior May 1, 2019 at the Countryside High School Awards Assembly. The Community Service Award was initiated in 2013 to honor students for their outstanding dedication to community improvement through volunteer service. Caitlyn was selected by the GFWC NPWC scholarship committee for her commitment to unselfishly serving her community.  Caitlyn’s impressive service includes volunteering at   Clearwater Main Library (300 hours assisting youth programs), New Zion Missionary Baptist Church (250 hours helping the food pantry, youth & music programs) and the Key Club (40 hours volunteering with various community groups such as Mattie Williams Center, Leukemia Society, UNICEF, Pennies for Patients).

Caitlyn received a GFWC NPWC medallion to wear at graduation and her name is engraved on the permanent Community Service Award plaque displayed at Countryside High School.
